Artist Biography for Andrea Jetton

I spent my childhood days drawing and painting (when I wasn't
climbing trees and playing with my dog). I studied art and
photography throughout school, but it was not until recent years that
I took a deeper look into my true interest in art. I began studies with
such respectable artists as Lesley Humphrey, and Brenda Hash. I am
forever grateful to them for the way they are so willing to share their
skills and knowledge with others. I am also grateful to the many artists
who demonstrate at our local art league meetings and inspire us each
month.  I enjoy constantly exploring different mediums and techniques.

I primarily paint my representational work in oil and
acrylic. My large
abstracts are done mainly in acrylic or mixed media.
Recently,  I have
enjoyed working  in colored pencil.

I feel that God has placed a desire in my heart to create art. He has
blessed my life with wonderful friends that I have met through art, and
a family that supports my endeavors.  At this time, I do not have many
paintings to share with you on my site, but I feel led to share them.
Hopefully, they will grow in number as well as skill level over time.

Thank you for your interest in my work!

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in
me and I in him he will bear much fruit; apart from me you
can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in me, he is like
a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches
are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain
in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish,
and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you
bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
